Easter painted eggs

In the Romanian tradition, Easter eggs are decorated with geometric symbols, plants, animals, anthropomorphic and religious. Here are some symbols and meanings used: 

- Straight vertical line = life; 

- Straight line = death; 

- Double line right = eternity; 

- Line rectangles = thinking and knowledge; 

- Slightly wavy line = water purification; 

- Spiral = time, eternity; 

- Double helix = connection between life and death 

In the past, the colors used are derived from plants cooked.

Arch of Triumph - Bucharest Romania

Indeed come spring, now is the sun, here comes the rain.In the photo is the Arch of Triumph and its reflection in the rain.
Bucharest once called "Little Paris" and has a triumphal arch, built in the period 1921-1922 and renovated in 1935-1936. It commemorates the victory of Romania in WWI.

Currently is in the process of rehabilitation of the building.
