Reflections of memories

Romana Square is on of the largest intersections in Bucharest, bordered all around by old buildings and historic monuments.

On one corner of the Romana Square is placed Petrascu brothers house. Nicolae Petrascu was diplomat, writer, literary critic and art, his brother Gheorghe Petrascu (1872 - 1949), was one of the most important Romanian painter, the other brother Constantin, being less known. The house was built in 1912.

But there is a more important building for me  and yesterday, passing through the area it woke my memories. I was young, student and everything was so simple...
For the last time, I think I was at the Academy of Economic Studies -A.S.E., to take a document necessary for retirement.
Nostalgia took me while walking through the old corridors.
For those who do not know, the building was founded in 1913 and was the first economically educational institution in Romania.

A place full of memories, less educational, was also "Brewery Tourist". Here we spent many pleasant moments between or even during classes, and I must confess that sometimes we played hooky.
"Brewery Tourist" no longer exists being replaced by a bank office, but the memories remain.

Look at the picture, it is a strong connection between the two locations above!

Have a nice time with Weekend Reflection!
